BiteQuest: The Culinary Safari

You are a master zooculinary - an expert in wildlife, and how to cook it!

"Observe this rare creature as it's slowly moving through the forest, nibbling on grass here and there! You can see its majestic horn, its beautiful wings, and the strong hind legs you just know will be delightful with green pepper sauce!"

BiteQuest is a onepage party game that is also playable as solo. Embark on a journey through wilderness, finding strange animals, hunting and cooking them.

The gameplay is easy - the active player takes up the role of the Documentarist, while the rest of the players are the Audience and act as a collective judge. The Documentarist describes the animal they encounter, with the help of a random table. Each relevant statement makes the roll they'll subsequently make more likely to succeed. However, they may not use a description a player has used before. They also have to keep talking, ot the Audience will get bored. Any of these things will stop their narration and force the roll immediately. 

The game is played in three subsequent phases (provided a successful roll at the end of the previous phase) - Observation, where the animal, its looks and its behavior is described, Hunt, where different weapons, traps and techniques are employed, and finally Cooking, where various spices and side dishes are added.
